Dr. Voirin earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Illinois College and a medical doctorate from Midwestern University. He completed an internship at Chicago Osteopathic, Our Lady of Mercy and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency at Chicago Osteopathic and Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospitals where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Voirin is certified on both the VISX and the Wavelight Allegretto lasers. He has been assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois in Peoria where he taught both medical students and residents.
Dr. Voirin is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Voirin is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic Association and the Illinois Medical Society.
