Anna J. Park, M.D. specializes in corneal and external diseases and cataract surgery. She diagnoses and treats disorders of the front portion of the eye including corneal infections, inflammatory conditions, corneal dystrophies and degenerations, and disorders of the eyelid and conjunctiva.
Dr. Park earned a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University and a Medical Doctorate at Jefferson Medical College. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital followed by an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Park completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Wills Eye Hospital as well.
Dr. Park is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her surgical interests include cataract and corneal transplant surgeries.
Dr. Park is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Park is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
