Jeffrey R. Haag, M.D., a specialist in neuro-ophthalmology, diagnoses and treats patients with unexplained vision problems related to diseases affecting the brain and optic nerve.
Dr. Haag earned his Bachelor’s Degree with High Honors from Wheaton College. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia after which he interned at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. His residency at Loyola University was followed by a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
In addition to neuro-ophthalmology, Dr. Haag practices comprehensive ophthalmology. He is part of several humanitarian teams which provide eye surgery in developing countries.
Dr. Haag is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Haag is a member of the Illinois State Medical Society, the DuPage County Medical Society, the Christian Medical and Dental Association and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
